Terms of service

Forge is a private application with one user. These terms exist so that the position is written down rather than assumed.

There is no public sign up. Forge is not offered as a service to anyone, and no one other than its owner is permitted to use it.

The application

Forge is operated by Dante St James, trading as Clickstarter, in Australia. It is a personal tool, in active development, provided to no one but its owner.

Access

Access requires the single account that already exists. Attempting to gain access without authorisation is not permitted. If the application is ever opened to other people, these terms will be replaced before that happens.

Acceptable use

The application must not be used to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to store material the operator has no right to store. Content saved from the web is kept for the owner's own reading and reference, and is not republished.

Google services

Where the application connects to Google Calendar or Google Health, it does so with the account holder's consent, under the Google API Services User Data Policy. Consent can be withdrawn at any time from the Google account permissions page or from within the application. How that data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

No warranty

The application is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is under development, it may be unavailable, it may lose data, and it may change or be shut down at any time without notice. Nothing it produces is professional advice of any kind: not medical, not legal, not financial, and not spiritual direction. Parts of it are generated by language models and can be wrong.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and except for rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of the application. Since the application has one user and is not sold to anyone, no fee has been paid and no service level is promised.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
